Notes on every client

A note lives on the visit it was written for, and the client's page collects them all — searchable, so "allergic to acetone" is never more than two taps away.

Notes in this app are tied to appointments, not to a separate card. That sounds like a limitation until you use it: every note has a date, and “prefers oval shape” from June sits right under the June visit.

Steps

  1. When adding or editing an appointment, scroll to Notes and write what matters — the formula, the allergy, what they asked for next time.
  2. On the client’s page the two most recent notes appear as cards, each with its service and date.
  3. Tap All notes to open the complete list, and search it when the list gets long.

Where notes travel

  • CSV export includes the Notes column, so notes come with you to a new phone or another app.
  • Google Calendar (Android) writes phone and notes into the event’s description; Apple Calendar does not — the event carries only the client, the service and the time.
  • The client filter “Has notes” lists everyone you have written something about.

Good to know

  • Notes are plain text. A link or a phone number typed in a note is not tappable — put the phone number in the Phone field and a profile link in the Name field, where the app can act on them.
  • A note deleted with its appointment is gone with the appointment.
