Move your data to a new phone

Do this before the old phone is wiped or sold. Nothing in the app is stored anywhere but on the phone (and, if you turned it on, your own iCloud).

iPhone → iPhone

• With iCloud Sync (Pro): turn it on on both phones — Settings → Data & Sync → Sync Status → iCloud Sync, restart the app on each — and the new phone fills itself in. See Sync with iCloud.
• Without Pro: on the old phone, Settings → Data & Sync → Back Up → Create a backup; the copy lands in your iCloud Drive. On the new phone, Back Up → Restore from Files and pick it. Or AirDrop the file.

Android → Android

1. On the old phone, Settings → Storage → Data and Storage → Export CSV data → Share — send the file to yourself. This copy has everything: phone numbers, notes, durations.
2. On the new phone, Import CSV data → Select CSV File → Add All (the phone is empty).
3. The Backup copies route works too (tap a copy → Share, then Import on the new phone), but a backup copy leaves out phone numbers, notes, tips and durations — use it only if you have no CSV.

Android’s own Google backup of app data is also enabled for the app, so a phone restored from a Google backup may already have it.

iPhone ↔ Android

CSV is the bridge, in both directions: export on one, import on the other. What does not travel: tips and Instagram handles when going to Android (the Android file has no columns for them), and any personal reminders. Expenses and other income are not in the CSV on either platform — note them down before switching.

What the transfer does not include

Settings stay per phone: language, currency, theme, the reminder template and the My Services menu are set again on the new device. The Pro subscription follows your Apple or Google account — tap Restore purchases on the paywall if the new phone does not show it.
